International Seminar “GRAIN-IMPORT. Grain supplies from Russia to Turkey and Middle East countries in 2009-2010”

Briefly about the event:


The seminar will be held under the auspicious of the Turkish Flour Industrialists' Federation (Un Sanayicileri Federasyonu) and Trade Mission of Russian Federation in Turkey and with participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkey.

Estimated number of the participants is about 100: representatives of companies from Turkey, Egypt, and Middle East Countries interested in long-term cooperation with Russia and CIS countries in grain supplies. More information: http://www.zerno-import.ru

10.00-11.30 1st Session: Specifics of grain import to Turkey market.

  • Grain purchasing system in Turkey. Import rules. Sate regulation of import.
  • Main countries - Russian grain consumers. Consumption volumes in 2008. Forecast of consumption volumes in 2009.
  • Turkish flour market;
  • Main companies-importers from Turkey, Egypt, and Middle East countries.
  • Problems of grain consumers in crisis conditions.

  • Maximal possible duration of grain storage. Ways of grain storage. Opinions exchange.
  • Grain export: grain quality compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Specifics of grain quality testing.
  • From exporters’ experience: the simplest and the most effective way of insects infection definition of the bulk grain.

 

The session moderator is Igor Vittel (RBK-TV). Lead exporters and logistic companies from Russia and Ukraine take part in the session. Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, Rostov Commercial Port, Azov, Eysk, and Taganrog ports are invited.
