Dear Friends and Millers of the MidEast and Africa
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my pleasure and privilege to introduce the 21st Annual International Association of Operative Millers MidEast and Africa District Conference and Expo which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa on 22 - 25 November 2010. This Conference and Expo will give you the opportunity to expose yourself not only to the latest in milling technology and support services, but also to strengthen your relationship with old friends and to make new ones.
The leaders in the milling industry need to equip themselves for future challenges in feeding the nations of the earth.
Cape Town is located on the Southern tip of Africa, in the shade of Table Mountain and surrounded by beaches. The wine lands touring routes are within an hours drive from Cape Town. Our game parks in the North are world famous for you to experience the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino) in the wild.
The rainbow nation of South Africa looks forward to welcoming you and your spouse/partner to explore Africa from the most sophisticated attractions to the inner beauty of the African Bush.
Yours sincerely

"Once again history repeats" I am pleased and honored to announce that the 22nd Annual IAOM MEA Conference & Expo will be held from 2-5 October, 2011 for the second time after 11 years in Jordan, at the Dead Sea.
A well-travelled bridge between sea and desert, east and west, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is a land of mesmerizing beauty and contrasts, from the Jordan Valley, fertile, ever changing, to the remote desert canyons, immense and still. Visitors can explore splendid desert castles, gaze in awe at the haunting wilderness of Wadi Rum, or bathe in the restful waters of the Dead Sea.
Jordan has grown into a modern nation which has enjoyed a remarkable measure of peace, stability and economic growth in recent decades. The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which once captivated ancient travelers, continues to enthrall a whole new generation as a modern, vibrant nation.
We strive to offer you a diverse conference program, giving everyone the unique opportunity to listen to the industry's most esteemed and influential professionals. The first day of this years’ Conference will consist of the Technical and Educational Presentations. The What's New sessions, which are designed to address milling innovations, trends and challenges will be followed by The Trading session to discuss the grain and crop situation worldwide. The last day is fully dedicated to management issues such as Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Strategy and Human Resources.
The Expo facilities at the Dead Sea are fantastic in terms of Space and Layout with more than 2 000 sqm dedicated only to the Exhibtion making it logistically very convenient for all exhibitors and participants. All selected Conference hotels enjoy 4*-5* ratings and are located directly at the Dead Sea connected through a shuttle bus to the Convention Centre at the Dead Sea. The Conference & Expo is your link to the latest research and technological developments in the milling industry and helps you to get up face to face with the top professionals in our field.
The number of participants is limited for this years’ conference, therefore we advise all delegates and exhibitors to register as early as possible to secure their participation in this event. We do hope to meet regular and new participants as well as to strengthen contacts and relationships to our valuable industry partners from the Middle East and African Region.
I look forward to welcoming you to the Kingdom of Jordan.
