Francis trained as a service engineer in Buhler Johannesburg, South Africa, before assuming the same role in Eastern Africa. With service experience across more than 10 countries in Eastern, Southern and West Africa, Francis also served as Area Service Manager, taking on team leadership and customer relationship management tasks.

Prior to serving as Country Manager for Ethiopia & Eritrea, Francis developed the project sales business for Tanzania and Ethiopia for Buhler for about 3 years.

The professional experience gained has enabled Francis to gather insights in the food & agro manufacturing sectors, as well as sales and business management issues across the various markets he served.
