Chris is the founder and Managing Director of the Basis Commodities with over 30 years’ experience in the agricultural commodities sector.  Basis Commodities was established in 2014 to assist flour and feed manufacturers with their Australian raw material needs. Since then, Basis Commodities has grown into a successful agricultural commodity consultancy and brokerage business with a team of experienced professionals located between offices in Sydney and Dubai. Our reach extends across the globe, connecting a network of trusted associates in Europe, North and South America and Asia with our customer base in the Middle East and Africa.

Prior to founding Basis Commodities Chris gained his management experience working for several major commodity companies including GrainCorp,as Head of Sales and Marketing, and the Australian Wheat Board (AWB). Prior to working in Grains Chris also had ten years’ experience as a senior sugar trader for Sucden in Paris and Czarnikow Rionda in London.
