Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Leadership Council & entire team of IAOM MEA District, I would like to thank you all for your participation in the 22nd Annual International Association of Operative Millers Mideast and Africa District Conference and Expo held in Dead Sea, Jordan from 2nd - 5th October 2011. Once again we repeated a great history back in Jordan after 11 years. I hope all of you benefited greatly from this year’s event.

Although some of our friends from the region faced difficulties to attend this event, we managed to balance the participation and our team has strived to provide the best services to fulfil everyone’s needs. I thank our local hosts, Mrs. Yula Karaviotes of Amman Grand Flour Mills and also Mr. Nicolas Tsikhlakis of The Modern Flour Mills and Macaroni Factories Co. for their contributions and supports to our team members and delegates. The works would not be easier without their supports.

You may also noticed the development of our District in term of registration process for the conference this year. We managed to move a step up by implementing an online registration system that is meant to make the process even simpler. We are always open for any suggestions/constructive ideas that can develop our organization better and better. We hope that we can hear your ideas for the development of our Education part too that we can implement them in the upcoming conferences.
