It is the first IAOM MEA Grain Trading virtual forum plotted to reach grain traders regionally and worldwide to mainly address world grain supply and new trade methods and contracting.

AgResource Co. is a domestic and international agricultural research firm located in Chicago, which forecasts domestic and world agricultural price trends. AgResource Co. provides information/research to; farmers, elevators, soy and corn processors, wheat millers, food companies, trading companies, importers, exporters and meat packers. AgResources research is sold around the globe in 81 nations.
Mr. Basse is an economist that has been in the commodity business since 1979. Raised on a dairy/grain farm in Waukesha, Wisconsin, MrBasse has a keen sense of production agriculture. Mr. Basse graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1979 and has worked with Professional Farmers of America, Brock Associates, and the ag research division of GNP Commodities in Chicago. In 1987, Mr. Bassefounded AgResource Company to serve the needs of the US and world agricultural community. Mr. Basse is a member of Farm Foundation and the Commodity Market Council.’][/simple_tooltip]

He started his milling career back in 1993 at KSU and now he is running two mills with production capacity of 800 tons a day. Jamshidi has also been essential in having IAOM MEA region become one of the largest and most active in the world. He has been awarded the (George Kehr Memorial Award) for his outstanding performance in improving membership. KFF Mills was the first in Iran to participate in flour fortification program in 2005 which became nationwide mandatory fo all mills. It was recognized in Istanbul at the FFI conference to receive -Leadership Award- for the performance and the success in fortification. KFFs strategy and success in milling has been to tailor make base products per customers’ need. KFF was also involved in agri-trade including import/export of grains. It runs a very successful program from Caspian Sea. KFF has recently been the first exporter of wheat to Oman.’][/simple_tooltip]

proven success record of over 25 years in Top MNC companies and Grain Processing Industries at
various levels from Executive to Managing Director / CEO.
He is Science Graduate in France and resided over 17 years in France and worked as Technique
Manager in one of the leading Supermarket Chain in Paris. In 2009 he Joined in the family business
of Bakhresa Group and was been appointed as Managing Director of Bakhresa Grain Milling
(Rwanda) Ltd.
He has successfully completed the milling project of 250 MTPD with an initial investment of $ 24
million with in a record span of 14 months from Ground Breaking to Production level. With his
dynamic approach and abilities, within 12 months of operations, the company reached 100 % of the
capacity and went for expansion of another 250 MTPD in 2013.
He also appointed as Managing Director of Bakhresa Grain Milling (Burundi) Ltd in 2013 and made
that company turnaround and successfully running the company.
He is Managing Director of Bakhresa Grain Milling (DRC) SPRL and planning to do the project in the
coming years.
In 2016, he assumed as Technical Director for the entire Bakhresa Group and looking after the
Technical, Milling Issues and Project in all the countries viz Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, South
Africa etc. where Bakhresa Group is operating.
He is Managing Director/CEO of BAKHRESA ZIMBABWE/Blue Ribbon Foods Ltd., Zimbabwe and
actively involving in reviving the company and making it turnaround.
He is the CEO of BAKHRESA SOUTH AFRICA and has manage to penetrate the South Africa Market.
He is also Board of Director in Azam Media Rwanda & Burundi companies which are offering DTH
and other entertainment services.

Oils and Proteins (AGROP) and Al Ghurair Foods (AGF). Through his leadership, the
businesses have transformed from small regional players, to become major supply chain
solution providers of soft commodities such as flour, wheat, maize, barley and oil seeds, across
markets in the GCC, South East Asia, and Africa. In 2020, AGROP marked a milestone year in
its history, crushing more than 1 million tons of canola seeds in a single year.
During his time in this role, Djamal has been an active part of the US Wheat Association,
International Association of Operative Miller, Global Grains Association, Grain and Feed Trade
Association and US Soybean Export Council, committed to enhancing a food security and
safety in the global food market.
Prior to becoming CEO, Djamal was Vice President of the company heading trading and
procurement of Grains and Oilseed. In 2004, the Oil business was added, with the company
then re-branding to become AGROP, as it is known today.
Before joining Al Ghurair, Djamal held roles in commodity and currency trading and exchange
across diverse industry sectors.
Djamal Djouhri was born in Algiers, Algeria. He graduated from School of Economics in Algeria
with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Major in Management, and completed his Master’s
Degree in Business Administration at San Diego State University, USA.’][/simple_tooltip]
