The conference in Morocco, 2005, also marked the first meeting of the MEA Region Leadership Council – a step taken to formalize the region organization and leadership structure in light of the Region’s tremendous growth and popularity. The council is responsible for the oversight of the Region’s goals, programs, operations and development, as well as selection of conference locations. It is also committed to elevating the level of service and member benefits offered to its Region members.
