- Ideal preparation/conditioning of wheat for the milling process.

- Design and function of the key machines; rollermill, purifier, detacher, bran finisher and plansifter
TUESDAY:
- Milling machines – continuation (part 2)
- Mill flowsheet technology
- Principles and design of a mill flowsheet; Break passages, purifiers, reduction passages
WEDNESDAY:
- Mill flow sheet technology – continuation (part 2)
- Aspiration and mill pneumatic
- Design and function of fan, blowers and filters
THURSDAY:
- Finished product silo
- Quality control and elements for quality assurance in the finished product silo
- Quality control in the laboratory
- Basic analysis of the grain and flour
TRAINER
Abdelkrim Alahiane, Head Miller & Feed Milling Specialist, Buhler Dubai
Mr Abdelkrim Alahiane worked in the flour milling business since 2005 for different flour mills in Morocco, Libya, UAE and Nigeria. After graduating form the Swiss Milling School in 2014, he joined Buhler as Head Miller and Feed Specialist, responsible of plants and single machines commissioning, performing existing plants as well as millers training either in-house or at the African Milling School.
